This week we are studying Lehi's dream in the Book of Mormon for our school scripture study. Usually we get together with cousins to act out the scripture story or do some sort of activity together, but this week we have other plans. I wanted to take the kids back to the "I Am A Child of God" Exhibit at the Church History Museum because they have a display/hands-on activity for Lehi's dream with an actual iron rod. We went there tonight for Family Home Evening. The kids had a great time, and it reinforced our talk this morning about holding on to the rod and making it to the tree of life so that we can partake of the fruit which represents the Love of God.
