This is just too funny not to post! Emily got a comic book for christmas which had a place in the front cover for her to fill out her information--name, age, address, secret crush. When she got to the secret crush line, she of course had to ask us what a secret crush is. We explained that it is a boy that she likes or thinks is cute that is not part of the family. She took only a couple of seconds to think and come back with the name "Aaron". We told her that she was really too young to have a secret crush, but she could think some boys are kind of nice and left it at that.
Yesterday after we got home from church and were having a snack, Emily announced "So, my secret crush was at church today!" We burst out laughing! It was so funny! She then proceeded to tell Spencer that he better not tell Katie (Aaron's sister who Spencer plans on marrying someday) that Aaron is her secret crush!
Kids are great!
P.S. Emily lost her other front tooth last night--just a few days earlier and she really would have been able to say "All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth!" It is so funny to hear her talk with two missing front teeth!
